Unarchived is a peace offering from AHI to the faithful fans who have been begging for new music and patiently supporting him through the many delays to his official album release due the COVID-19 pandemic.
This unofficial release is a cathartic collection of 10 songs born of self-reflection during the lockdowns. Back in his Toronto home studio, AHI began digging through the hundreds of archived files left behind from his previous album recording sessions and asked himself: Why haven't I shared this stuff yet?
Some songs are reimagined, and others dusted off to be heard by the world for the first time -- including Kelowna, a song AHI admittedly regrets cutting from his last release at the 11th hour. As AHI puts it, "Unarchived may not be the record fans have been waiting for, but it's the one they never knew they needed."
